Finance Malta has published an article by Patrick J. O'Brien, in which he describes the results of the recent Maltese line aimed at increasing the country’s competitiveness in the aviation sector.
The article reads, Malta is gradually becoming "a leading jurisdiction for Aircraft registration and an attractive location to base air operating companies." The fact that this January brought more aircraft registrations than the whole previous year did proves this statement. All in all, the authority and analysts seem to be rather optimistic about the prospects of the aviation sector in Malta.
