EXANTE embraces contemporary art
Latvia
Wealth management is not always about funds and stocks. Despite the fact that rare investors believe in the money-making potential of arts, there are still plenty of people who see value in more exquisite things and opt for investing in arts instead.
Wealth managers believe that art is well used as a store of value, rather than as a yield-oriented investment vehicle. It is obvious that the art market is currently down, although certain sectors of the market continue to outperform key economic indicators.
This is where we also have some ideas to share. Is fine art worth allocating funds into? How to stake on art and pick up a promising artwork? How liquid art can be as investment asset?
On August 21, EXANTE’s Vice President of Sales in Riga, Guntars Pupelis will give his insights into all the points above during his lecture "Investing in Arts: Pros and Cons" at the Jurmala Art Fair.
The festival will take place on the 19-22th of August in the picturesque Baltic Sea coast in Jurmala. The special guest of event is a world famous American artist Robert Whitman who is taking along his best known series of images of Mikhail Baryshnikov.
